Romain Jerome 1969 Heavy Metal models are powered by a mechanical self-winding movement RJ003-A. This mechanism beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour and runs on 40-hour power reserve. The small seconds sub-dial is applied at 9 o’clock onto every 1969 dial version, while the cut-out minute and second hand’s tips feature a generous blue-emitting layer of Superluminova. The case-backs are textured with a grainy stellar pattern and adorned with an ornament made from RJ’s Moon SilverRJ reproducing the lunar surface. This special alloy is made from silver that incorporates fine grains of genuine moon dust
